Ethiopian Airlines set to Resume Flights to Durban, South Africa

Addis Ababa, 29 September 2026

Ethiopian Airlines, the largest airline in Africa, is pleased to announce to its valued customers that, effective 11 December 2026, it will resume daily passenger services to Durban, South Africa. As its third destination in South Africa, following Johannesburg and Cape Town, the service will complement Ethiopian Airlines’ existing operations in the country, further strengthening connectivity and providing travelers with greater choice and convenience. The route will also facilitate increased business, tourism, and trade links between South Africa and the rest of the world.

The resumption of the flight underscores Ethiopian Airlines’ commitment to strengthening intra-African connectivity and advancing its longstanding vision of realizing an integrated continent.
