Ethiopian Airlines to Expand its Presence in Mozambique with a New Passenger Service to Nacala

Addis Ababa, 16 September 2026

Ethiopian Airlines, the largest network operating carrier in Africa plans to expand its presence in Mozambique with a thrice weekly passenger service to Nacala starting from 27 October 2026. Nacala, will join the vast Ethiopian network as the airline’s third destination in Mozambique after Maputo and Beira.

Ethiopian will deploy the Boeing B737-8 aircraft for the service, operating the flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays per the schedule below.
